Our Legacy & Mission

Providing low-cost, high-quality medical care to the tribal population since 1990.

A Humble Beginning, A Remarkable Journey

Bethany Medical Centre began as a modest outpatient clinic under the visionary leadership of Dr. K. Muralidar, MD, MNAMS. What started as a small initiative has now grown into a full-fledged referral hospital, trusted by thousands.

Through dedication, service, and continuous growth, we have expanded our facilities to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our community while maintaining our founding principle—compassionate care at affordable cost.

Our Mission

To provide affordable, high-quality, and holistic healthcare to the tribal and rural communities of Attapady and surrounding regions, irrespective of caste, creed, race, or religion. We are committed to delivering compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered medical care.

Our focus extends beyond treatment — we believe in prevention, education and community empowerment. Through outreach camps, awareness programs, and compassionate care, we strive to build healthier villages and stronger communities.

Our Vision

To create a healthier and empowered Attapady, where every individual - especially in tribal and rural communities — has access to compassionate, equitable, and quality healthcare. We envision a future where preventable diseases are reduced through education and awareness, communities are strengthened through holistic care, and healthcare serves as a beacon of hope, dignity, and transformation for all.

At Bethany Medical Centre, healthcare is not merely a service — it is a calling.
